The Ballet Heels

The original form of ballet heels were invented by a ballet dancer in New York City. In the result of an accident she could not use their feet to dance in the ballet. She decided now to do something for future ballet dancers and invented in collaboration with a local shoemaker the first real ballet heels. The inspiration for these shoes they took from the history of ballet where it has previously been trying to tip shoes with heels.
The development of the Ballet Heels is up to today's form has not yet reached the end. The shoemakers still trying by new materials and small changes to the design to make the shoes more tasty for the customers which in extreme shoes pleased.

Ballet Heels are now often found in the fetish area. Nevertheless they have found their place in the fashion industry. Thanks to creative designers and stylists. Thus the variations of ballet heels where shown in the last shows of Alexander McQueen. Musicians like singers were drawn from the ballet heels under her spell. Except Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Pink for example also Christina Aguilera used ballet heels in her music video.
The fascination with "Ballet Heels" is limited. There are not many women who see these shoes as elegant and stylish. In men the rate usually looks worse. Is it the fact that almost 100 percent of all women can not walk with these shoes and boots? This question can be answered only every woman for themselves.
Walking with ballet heels is in fact the biggest challenge that exists in the shoe market for a woman.
Alexandra Potter is one of the very, very few women who can walk with ballet heels. She is so elegant and relaxed that no one notices it when she is walking in the city. Only her height with the shoes of a total of 193cm ( ft.) is something striking and leads the people look towards from her face to the bottom. The surprise about how she walks on her toes is often very large.

Alexandra had a professional ballet training (see "About me"). But does every woman who wants to walk with ballet heels needs a ballet training? Not really. It shows that the ballet heels were invented for a particular target group.
Let's wait the further development of the next few years. Time will tell whether that target can be re-inspire the ballet heels. Alexandra wants it because she already knows the benefits of wearing ballet heels for the ballet dancing they entail.
